The next month, police killed a monk who allegedly had infiltrated the country and was suspected of carrying out a suicide attack in Phnom Penh.
In October, a man was shot and wounded after he attempted to break into a house where he was hiding.
In December, the country was rocked by a massive cyber attack, which infected nearly 1.3 million computers.
